Butler 1000

Butler 1000
The Butler 1000 kitchen sink is our largest version of the design classic, suitable for cleaning plates, washing muddy boots or even flower arranging. Although the name is widely used for ceramic kitchen sinks, the true Butler should be an apron-fronted fireclay sink, with thick walls and a generous bowl. The Butler 1000 sink is particularly well suited to utility rooms and boot rooms.
No one has been making Butler sinks for longer than Shaws, where it has been in continuous production since Queen Victoria was on the throne. Like any design classic, the Shaws Butler sink can complement any kitchen or utility room style; from farmhouse kitchens to Shaker kitchens. The Butler 1000 is our largest model, with two smaller options available.

Handcrafted for life
At Shaws we don't believe in mass production; we believe in quality, individuality and authenticity in all we do. It takes time to hand-make a Shaws sink, between three to four weeks in total using time-honoured techniques that have been passed down from master craftsman to apprentice for well over a century.
Caring for your Shaws sink
Shaws sinks are proven to be incredibly durable and long-lasting. To keep your investment looking at its best, we recommend it be cleaned daily using a soft sponge or cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning product - a simple solution of soap and water generally does an excellent job.
