After an extensive renovation and refurbishment, Langdon Court Manor, a Grade II listed Jacobean manor owned by 'Jean Queen' Donna Ida Thornton and Robert Walton MBE, is re-imagining the country house hotel experience.

Located in one of the most picturesque pockets of South Devon, the building has been sensitively restored after years of decline; the result is a stylish, beautifully designed space that puts the needs of its guests firsts. Long, lazy days can be spent exploring the grounds or relaxing in the communal areas of the house, all of which embrace the homely, comforting aesthetic of the Devon countryside, yet are also elegant, luxurious and modern in amenities.

Carefully imagined interiors offer a stylish blend of classic design, paired down elegance, characterful details and a laidback luxury where comfort is top of mind. Colour schemes are charming yet subtle and often neutral; vintage fabrics and heritage paint colours add charm and are reminiscent of the building's history. Natural textiles add warmth and tone, while antiques and one-off finds are balanced by modern amenities.

Bedrooms boast freestanding baths and marble flooring. In the kitchen and dining areas, taps from the Perrin & Rowe Ionian and Phoenician collections have been specified in a living, unlacquered Polished Brass finish to match the hardware throughout the rest of the property. This is a beautiful, warm finish that is so well suited to buildings such as Langdon Court.

Shaws of Darwen sinks, a brand itself steeped in a history that dates back over 125 years, supplied a number of kitchen sinks; the petite Round model, the large Edgworth and the fluted Bowland 600.
