Armstrong Bathroom
The launch of Armstrong Bathroom follows the success of the award-winning kitchen range, which has rapidly become one of Perrin & Rowe's most popular taps. The distinctive knurled handles and raised levers found in the kitchen collection also feature in the new bathroom range, a homage to our industrial past.
The Design
For 50 years, from 1858, the Stafford Road Works in Wolverhampton built over 800 locomotives for the Great Western Railway. Most were designed by two brothers, Joseph and George Armstrong. Inspired by their designs, Perrin & Rowe’s Armstrong collection transforms an industrial aesthetic into a model of timeless elegance.
In creating the Armstrong collection, our designers had this philosophy in mind; to create a product that works effortlessly, yet appeals to the senses. An industrial aesthetic, made with a craftsman's attention to detail.
The Technology
Engineered for modern living, the Armstrong collection is easy to install and effortless to use. Without compromise on style or finish, the collection incorporates the latest Perrin & Rowe innovative technology.
Each tap in the collection is made with the highest quality brass, poured by hand at 1700°F into moulds. After machining, specialist polishers develop the deep, lustrous finish. It's a time-consuming and painstaking task. The freestanding bath-shower mixer, for example, can take over 4 hours to perfect. This tireless attention to detail is a hallmark of Perrin & Rowe, just as it would have been for Joseph and George Armstrong.
